An artist, being an Earthling, is also a citizen of heaven. Art provides an opportunity for capturing the invisible in a form of a visible image. A similar thing happens to me – when I am in two opposite areas, I try to reconcile them on painting canvas. This is why I named my works Closer to heaven, I have double citizenship and I speak about God in the third area – art. Closer to heaven, closer to Him, closer to self understanding, closer to painting.
