7 Columns Of Wisedom

The direct inspiration for this cycle of paintings was Alina Wieja’s book Seven columns of wisedom. The author refers to the God’s Wisedom, which build a house, placed seven columns (Proverbs 9:1) that secure the abundance in every area of our life in Jesus Christ. My canvases are an attempt to translate what was happening in me, what I was experiencing when I was readind the book, into the language of painting. The starting point for me were my sketches of specific fragments of reality, which, when put on canvas, transformed into more and more abstract form. Refering to an existing place, I was blending them with the emotions I had while reading.
